Cooking up the Perfect Backdrop

We love our clients and we love to design spaces that become beautiful backdrops for our clients and their families in their everyday lives. We were thrilled to discover that one of our favorite client kitchens we designed, was recently used as a beautiful backdrop for the set of JOI The COOKBOOK.

Cyntia Apps, commercial and food photographer, captures this space so beautifully as the backdrop for this cookbook, showcasing a collection of recipes by partner Joanna Facey from Bright Spot Bakeshop. The two friends joined forces for this amazing cookbook …"JOÏ - Baking and photographing Northern European pastry".

Self-taught baker Joanna and photographer Cyntia take us on a sensory journey in their cookbook, "JOÏ - Baking and photographing Northern European pastry", through the world of pastry and confections from the Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Germany and Britain; sharing personal anecdotes, and drool-worthy photos.
