Diana was born and raised in Mexico City. Growing up Diana watched her mother and grandfather do projects on their own since they were architects, themselves. She graduated with Honors from Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico with a Bachelor's degree in, Architecture. She became a licensed Architect in Mexico and was an assistant professor to Xavier Cortez Rocha in the subject of Architecture-Urban and City Planning. Soon after graduating, she began her professional career in Mexico City supervising construction and maintenance projects.
After moving to California, she graduated and obtained a Certificate Program in Interior Design and Interior Architecture with honors from the University of California Berkeley. In California, she began to work in construction, architectural, and interior design firms.
As a result of working in the field of design and construction, Diana developed a comprehensive design philosophy. This begins with the understanding that the space is an emptiness, that people appropriate and makes their own, and that design is an intelligent process through which people arrange their environment. On all her projects, Diana takes pride in systematic, extensive project feasibility research with public permitting. She combines interior design with architecture.
In her free time, she loves to travel and paint watercolors. Diana also enjoys visiting the cobblestone streets of San Angel, Mexico, and loves spending time with her family, playing tennis with her son, shopping with her daughter, and attending a yoga class.
