Nicole Burton joined Design Matters in January of 2016, and brings over 10 years of experience in the construction and design industry with knowledge and high-level skills in administration and operations, customer and vendor relations, interior design, and project coordination/management.  In addition to completing courses in interior design, Nicole holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Psychology and a degree in Business Administration.  Nicole is an Interior Designer and Project Manager at Design Matters where she utilizes her wide range of talents, educational background, can-do and results driven attitude, and keen attention to detail.

Having grown up in family-owned construction businesses, Nicole has always enjoyed the construction and design industry and finds passion in creating unique environments that meet individual needs functionally and aesthetically.  Nicole is fascinated and inspired by the psychological influence and impact design can have on one’s mind, spirit and lifestyle.  As she has often quoted, “Design must seduce, shape and perhaps more importantly, evoke an emotional response.” – April Greiman.

Outside of work you can find Nicole enjoying a glass of wine, spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, and listening to Ed Sheeran.
